The KX-NS Series (700 & 1000) is a server-based PBX system that supports Panasonic Proprietary IP Telephones, Multi-Cell Wireless Panasonic Telephones, Software Phones(app for your Cell phone), Panasonic SIP Telephones and 3rd Party SIP Telephones.
Connection to the Central Office is through SIP Trunks, ISDN-PRI, or T1 for a digital connection. Since the KX-NS Series is primarily a digital system, the number of Analog POTS Lines are limited on the KX-NS Series, though all systems have connection for the purpose of Emergency Backup - in the event of an ISP failure.
The KX-NS700 can accommodate a larger number of Analog POTS Lines, a limited amount of Panasonic Digital Telephones and up to 3 Expansion Cabinets.
The KX-NS Series can be added to an existing KX-TDE 600 system to expand its IP and SIP capabilities.

Typical extensions used with the TDE cabinet are of Panasonic Proprietary Digital Telephones, Panasonic Proprietary IP Telephones, Multi-Cell Wireless Panasonic Telephones, Software Phones(app for your Cell phone), Panasonic SIP Telephones and 3rd Party SIP Telephones.
